to encourage all of you .. i did not have time to study alot but i used the time i had to study with an aim of 99! i had a good background and a generous god .. and limited time to do alot
i did not know alot of things and i still do not know alot .. i gave it all what i could and prayed to get the best ..
you guys have the time, the brain , and the best support you can get is here in this forum .. you definetly can get a 99 with hard work and prayers to ALLAH

Though I also do not have time to study alot , I am trying to do my best to get my study to do alot since my school is not same system as here & I am also grd for a while not recently , so imagine I need the references when it need to read more for current trends.
So far I still have my brain , thank God
So if we have the will , the dream will come through .
Offcourse with the wisely study , use time u have the most & give it all with help fr frds, God , praying fr frds & belived in self too in studying , praying .

shwee .. you can do it .. personalize you study according to ur weakness and strength .. do more review of ur weak points as you will know them through doing questions and u'll b supprised when u score low in subjects u though u knew very well
i don't know how far your in study but i did the q bank after my 1st read and used this system to costomise my 2nd read - i reviewed selectively- rather than reading everything again.. i started UW after my 1st read.. i started scoring 60 % and used first aid -for the first time here- trying to understand where the answers of the questions can be found and i was suprised that it had alot.. so i gave the q bank 2 weeks along with reading the topic i got wrong in the bank from 1st aid then add the explaination from the bank on it .. it took me 2 weeks to reach the score in 70s% on only this system then when i was able to have a plan 4 my review i gave my selv a break from the bank and did 1st aid along with selected parts from the books- mainly the parts that i did bad in or i have weakness in - although i didn't have time to work on everything or complete the q bank (i finished only 65% with average of 69%) it worked very well 4 me -alhamdelah-!
try to use the short time you have effiently by doing alot of question and review mainly part u do worst and do more questions in these parts .. this system will definietly help you improve your score within a short time
you can do it .. just plan well to use the time you have effectively rather than reading blinding .. best of luck 4 u and all those doing their step 1 soon

Have you do Kap Med Essential along with FA ??
So when you review , did you review all FA , plus all Kaplan LN review or just selective review of all of them ??
What do you think about re Golj audio , RR 2007 texts , his slides, HY notes from 100 page to etc ??

hey shwe
i know it needs alot of courage to start the q bank after the 1st read but i didn't have a choice coz i wanted to do the most imp things in short time so i used the appreciated advice of ppl here in the forum and started early trying to understand and give time 4 my brain to figure out what the exam owuld be like, what are the most imo topic , and plan how should i review effectively in a short time .. most imp is that i was study scik after my 1st read since i forced my self to study 4 long hours so starting the q bank after 4 days break gave me the motive to work hard again and changed my mood
no i did not do med essential .. as i told you .. it took me 2 weeks of question - very slow around 50-100/day- to understand how to use 1st aid and the style ov exam .. i tried reviewing my worst parts from fa everyday as i see the score and know them then give it a shot next day .. it went slow but by the end ov the 2nd week .. it worked and my score went up so i decided to stop the q bank 4 a while and do 1st aid .. it was hard but i opened the book with the part i'm reviewing from fa .. read fa first then eaither read this part from the book or skim through it .. starting with my weakest parts and left those i remmember better 4 the last .. i almost did biochem kaplan twice or 3 time this way , and i gave alot of attensio to phrama and patho too ..then the rest .. when i feel tired i go back to q bank and figure out more weak point and do them again ..
at the end it was like i did 2nd read ov patho, biochem , pharma and selected parts from micro, immuno, physio and behavioural sceince.. anatomy and rest were solely from fa except upper and lower limb from kaplan as well
i did not have enought time to adress all weaknesses but at least i improved alot ..
by the end i did a very quick review over fa and all what i added on it and went to the exam !
i didn't have time for goljan i wish i had but i couldn't do it.. i did some pic but later i realized it's taking alot of time so the day b4 exam i reviewed robbins pic since i was our source in school 4 patho .. if you have time you can go through goljan 100 but quickly but put in mind 1 source your using and adding on top ov it additional notes .. don't make everything equal or at the end you will get lost ..
it sound simple but it needs alot of brain to use the time efficently .. keep your spirit all the time up and you will do it
