i scheduled an interview for monday which is veteran's day.
is anyone interviewing on a national holiday or that day?
i didn't realise it was a holiday when i chose that date and i am wondering if the program didn't make the same mistake as i did in confirming it?

I am also interviewing on monday. From what i learned, there are only 6 holidays that the hospital observes: Memorial day, Independence day, labor day, thanksgiving, christmas, and new year.

veterans day, just like columbus day, etc, is not observed by all sectors of the society in the US...only the federal offices (post office etc) enjoy the day off during these days.

So, yeah, don't worry, i don't think they will offer that day if the staff of that program plan to have a day off on that day.

G'luck!
