Hey guys,

I'm worried! I started applying last night. I know I'm really late. Had been waiting for my CK score to apply. My credentials are..

2006 Graduate, 92/96/CS result awaited, No USCE, Getting some Canadian clinical experience...

Do I stand a chance? Especially in this tsunami of extremely high scores?confused

what is your visa situation? Most programs deadlines are November 15th or December 1st, so probably not too late, and your scores are good...

Thanks for the response wolverine9. I need a J1 visa. I've applied to a bunch of programs but I'm really worried since there are so many applicants this year. Hope I get a few interviews atleast... fingers crossed!sad

Unfortunately it's nothing else you can do- you have to wait! I don't know if the number of the candidates is much greater than last year or the candidates just applied to more programs!

Thanks NE. I know.. it's just wait and see from now. And it's going to be a nerve wracking few weeks. Not sure how far this is true but I've heard a lot of docs from the UK have applied this year as well... so that just adds to the competition.

You have good scores an it is NOT too late. Remember, a lot of programs were waiting until NOV. 1st to see MSPE before giving interviews. You have great scores, and Im sure you'll get inot a good program. Just dont take my spot.........wink

Good luck !

Thanks so much zrf80! I can finally breathe a little bit now! I appreciate people with a positive outlook towards this chaotic process. I wish you all the very best too.

I'll just have to wait and watch now.
