People i'm right on track, right on schedule!
Yesterday finished with FA. Thats outta way for now.
I'm left with Pharma, BS, Micro, and Biochem now. They'r to be finished by 29th of this month. Ya i know its hectic but its been like this all along and i've never backed down! I'm makin sure that everything gets done on time.
Today i restarted with my left over bunch of 300 unused questions from Uworld.
Did 2 blocks today. The scores were 84 & 100% !!!  . Ya i'm shocked too! Dont ask me how this happened. It just happened somehow. Wow!

hi
well i have read neuroanat in nov i had no prob wid it understood well...is it good 2 listen 2 lecture? cos i dont think i have dat much time nd patience 2 listen 2 lectures nw.....i skipd lecures 4 anat ,micro.....wat du u say???i ll have 2 put on more effort if i gotta du neroanat....lectures.....nd wat bot embryology? m comfortabl wid it 2 so is it ok 2 skip dvds?

Tia i've never done any dvds. Not for step 2, not for this step. Personally i feel if you've made good use of the books there should be no need for dvds, especially if you dont have much time to work with...so stick to your books for now and make sure you learn the material well. That i think should be more than enough to get you a great score.

So then...the exam's only 10 days away. And as i look back and look forward, there's plenty for me to be happy about.
The prep's on track. Have had no major hiccups. Been scoring well on Uworld. Got good NBME scores. And probably am improving all the time. What else would i want???
I still want to do better!
I know its tough. I'm probably close to my ceiling but how close I really dont know. There's still room for improvement. There always is!
So...I aint slackening, I'm stayin TOUGH. I'm seein this through till the very end. Till that last question I attempt. Till that last time i click on the right option!
Uworld scores today; 88 & 90%. Nice job!

Tia,
For your initial read focus on getting to understand wat stuff is high yield and wat isnt. Try n interrelate subject matter as much as possible without stressin too much on cramming. Dont stress urself out with cramming up the differentials at this time. Once u start doing questions the differentials will take care of themselves easily and then when u return for the second read u'll see a whole new picture starin at u. It'll be so much more easier to memorize. Stuff that u should be tryin to memorize at this time would be the flow charts and tables the book has. The rest will come with time.

Finished with Pharm today.
Only 3 more subjects to go BS, micro, and biochem. 5 days for them.
And then into the final stretch; will be revising FA, doin Qs from Qbook, and a coupla subjects from Kaplan those last 4 days.
Also said a final good bye to Uworld today. Signed off with 90 & 92%. Nice way to finish eh...
Cumulative score was 86% (excluding the Qs repeated). I'm happy anddd impressed!
But the job's only half done. Now is the time to make everything really count. Not allow the hard work go waste. I need to consolidate as much as I can.
And i will not let myself down. I promise!

Been a long tough day this.
Lots of studyin and lots of questions done.
Thankfully i got everything done.
Was doing Behav Sc today. Man it does test my patience!
Pretty much the same stuff as in Step2. Such repitition gets on my nerves sometimes!
But the silver lining: Its done!!!
Also was doin some questions from Kaplan Qbank. They got some good stuff there; some of it was new territory for me. But good that i'm goin through these Qs...the knowledge is all adding up and i aint complaining!
8 days to go now...thats 192 hours! Phew! Thats a lot of hours man!
