When should I take NBME?

I am on my 2nd read right now and I plan on taking the exam in about 5 months. When should I take my first NBME and which one should I take? I was planning on taking the first NBME in early January. Right now I am answering questions in the Qbook while I do my 2nd read and then I plan to do Qbank after I completely finish the read. What do you guys think?

first NBME two months before the exam.and then plan accordingly.

Ok, well I was planning on January just to see where I was which will be about 3-4 months before the exam and then do another NBME every month. So I would probably be better off to take it much closer to my exam date? Thanks for your advice.

im not able to afford all online nbme's. if there's one to chose which one would be the closest prediction to the real test scores.
