Hi Guys, I am new to this forum, and i am amazed to see the information i can get from these forums. I want to thank you all for that. It would be more helpful if those who have passed Step 2 can post their study materials or advise which books are best to read for MLE2. I am going to give Step 2 in May'08. Your information will be greatly recieved and appreciated. If there is any other thread where they have already discussed the study materials pls let me know.

Man just do kaplan and do Uworld. That should be sufficient for a decent score. And maybe u can do cardiology and neurology from a good medicine text, just to get a good conceptual grasp, because some of the toughest questions come from these two topics... ___________________ Step1 267/99. good luck! ive been researching this topic for 2-3 weeks. soo many different opinions. i think u just gotaa pick 1-2 things and stick with it! I ordered step up, but i hate it. it might be goos but i think the words r too crammed and paragraphs jumbled together. i hate looking at it. Now im waiting for F.A in mail....... so at least i have something to keep me awake and active learning while i do usmleworld. I want to get secrets bc format and style really does look like its almost a pleasure to read BUT now im reading kaplan.
I refuse to have more than 3 sources. i must choose. so i think it will be DIRTYPLAY'S 5 STEP PLAN ------------------------------ 1. Kaplan 1 good read with videos (spend 1 month total) 2. Than 2 month of JUST usmleworld All day with F.A (taking notes in it) 3. Take nbme and evaluate myself if everything goes as planned....... 4. Than read F.A for 5 day 5. Go take exam!
any opinions, comments ?......... im ready
