i think failure of differentiation...cytoplasmic Ig we see in pre B-cell stage :roll:

in pre B cells igs move from cytoplasm to surface. since there is no maturation of pre B cells to B cells . Igs are trapped inside.

release of gammaglobulins or its precursors are responsible for monoclonal M spike few cells have russells bodies (contain gamma Ig in their cytoplasm) :idea: since Ig gamma is found in cytoplasm therefore known as cytoplasmic Ig .They are always monoclonal ( IgG or IgA)--->synthesize more light chains than heavy chains--->excrete light chains in urine(bence jones proteins)
