i ve almost completed 1 read of kaplan notes which i am not at all satisfied with. nowadays doing UW but the scores are so disappointing that i am beginning to loose hope . i ve done only 38% of UW with cumulative performance of 49%. range of 41-50%. i m writing down all the explanation and trying to memorize them.
i m planning to give exam on 19 th nov thats my last opportunity after that i would have to loose my fee cause have already extended period.
i had read in this forum that most ppl do UW mainly and get good scores can anyone help me out there and tell me is there any hope for me.
cause with just 2 weeks left i can hardly complete UW but cant revise kaplan notes. my step 1 score is 97 so dont want to get bad in this one.
i m in desperate need of suggestions from experienced any tips on studying in the last few weeks for getting good score.

hey ,dont get disheartened. kaplan may not be a complete book for step 2ck but definitely if u r thorough with it ,u can expect a decent score.so my advise is u give 2 more readings of kaplan b4 u go 4 the exam,i understand u have a very short period,pls dont lose ur confidence,kaplan is definitely a good book.personally i liked it,1st readin u will feel it very incomplete but as u give couple of more readings,u will begin 2 like the book,so try 2 give atleast 2 more readings,hope dis helps.

make sure you do the NBME
to asess your self before you take the test. Betteer to loose 700 now than get a score that makes it diff to regain the 700 in the future
cummulative of 41-50 2wks before the test is not so encouraging
But the no matter what any body says to you you are the best judge of your preparedness

thank u eberenwala thats what i was thinking too. i ll definitely give nbme 1 wk before to see where i stand.
trying to complete UW but cant do more than 3 blocks /day
but hopefullly i ll finish it
