ok, I did some search and found this thread, but it is more in a light vein and didn't really get any concrete answers from this source, http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/comments.php?id=4... So please I wanna discuss this once for all, and for the benefit of all members, plz tell the dress code both for males and females. Thanks

I got an email that says: ...."Each week we have an informal (jeans) get together for the candidates..." Other says: "Dinner with the Internal Medicine Residents (Business Casual)..." I went to one where most applicants wore dark suits, white shirts, no tie...the email said :..."parts of your interview is a casual dinner social". Residents wore regular shirts and pants...

bottom line...if it says jeans I'll wear jeans, if it says casual: regular pants and shirt, If it does not say anything then business casual, with some color though...the next day is for the funeral, vendor looking attire...

I talked with a friend who applied last year and she attended some dinners with the residents. She told me almost everybody was casual-nice wich ment a shirt ( for men) or a blouse and a regular pants/skirt. Of course were some exceptions like candidates who wore jeans or suit with tie. Prueba is right- if in the email they said jeans , jeans should be.
