A 18-year-old college football player presents to the outpatient for an annual PE. He has just been accepted to a distinguished university on a sports scholarship, and the scholarship is contingent upon a full history and PE. He feels well and has no specific complaints. His breath sounds are clear to auscultation. heart sounds are regular un rate and rhythm with a fourth sound. A harsh midsystolic murmur is heart at the apex, radaiting to the carotids. The murmur becomes worse when the patients is asked to perfrom the Valsalva maneuver, and it get better when the patients is asked to squat. What is the most common presentation of this condition?
