hello guys, i failed this exam after i did about 4 months of prep. i did kaplan notes 4x read peds 4x, ob/gyn.surgery, psy 2x. and did uw 2x . i don't know how to start all this over again, this is such a horrible shock. i don't know if i should stick to kaplan or blueprints now;

actually i got 160; 15 points or so form the passing score.

don't worry, it's not about how you fall, the main point is that you brush yourself off & try running again.....

  #4

Dont worry uasually in this case rather than getting a 75 and be stuck with it so take a break and get ready for it again

Just clear your mind, think that it wasn't in vain... cause much of the knowledge is already in your mind, take your time to reinforce the areas with lowest performance, then you ll see that this experience is helpful enough to make you do it better next time.

when did you get your score? When did you take the test? Oh yes and I particularly recommend you the UW

The best way to study is try to remember as many q's as you can, I did that for step 1, I went throgh first aid and it helped to remember q's and answer choices even if it's just 2 or 3. After writing them down, go back and answer them fully, write detailed explanations about the topic especially explanations that have to do with the answer choices. It helps get the concepts down and testing strategy, even if you don't get any of the repeated you know how the q's asked and get a good grasp on the concepts.
I haven't taken ck yet, but I plan to do that just in case. It helps alot.
Good luck and don't give up! smiling face
