What color suit are you wearing for interviews?

will be wearing a navy suit, and underneath a light blue longsleeves and a dark blue tie in one interview.... in another place, I'll be wearing the same suit, and will be probably wearing a dark pink shirt with a matching dark grey tie with small pink patterns.

G'luck everyone!

I wore black suit for my first interview, there were a few applicants were wearing black also, During the visit of the ER, one resident was asking: Did somebody die?

I had this doubt about black suits for men too. But read and asked people and found out that black suit is fine. You just have to know how to wear it. If you have a black suit, you definitely will not want to wear it with black tie or black shirt or a red tie for the interview. A black suit with a white or light blue shirt and a blue tie will be fine. It is not the color of the suit, it is how you wear it and the confidence you project. Also, how it fits you is more important than the color.

I personally bought a black suit with subtle black tone-on-tone stripes. I tried some charcoal and navy blue suits, did not like how they looked or fit on me; so decided for the black one instead.

This is my 2 cents. Perhaps bbb, can give us some input and clarify this.

Please, bbb?

navy blue and charcoal... I usually don't think about the suit because I just have two... the problem are ties... I get tired of them... I'll wear a red one on my tough ones, like tiger woods on sundays...

Once for an interview, surprisingly all the candidates were wearing black suits and white shirts and the person who was taking the candidates to the department commented to one fellow passenger on the elevator that they are all going for a funeral ceremony.....but I think black is the most elegant color than anything else for interview...may be you can try some other shirt color other than white...

Black - when I walk into a room of candidates all wearing black, I think I am with the funeral home people.
