what is it ? per eg. NADH allosterically inhibits isocitrate dehydrogenase some one can explein it to me...... :oops:

allosteric inhibitors by definition are enzymes that alter the affinity of the enzyme for its susbstrate or modify the maximal catalytic activity of the enzyme or both
.they bind non covalently at a site other than the active site
