Why does atropine cause vasodilation and hence hyperthermia if acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors cause realse of NO and thus vasodilation? Dont know if its a stupid question...still will someone please help me out?confused

As far as I understood it: Atropine causes hyperthermia probably by decreasing sweating. The resulting vasodilation is the neurogenic component--> (compensatory)

You are right that ACh acts on the M3 receptors present in the vascular ENDOTHELIUM (not in vascular smooth muscle---only SYMPathetic innervates vascular smooth muscle) therefore causes vasodilation.

Oh no question is stupid, since you asked this question, I got to think more about it smiling face so thanks.

Hope others will clarify more....
