I think you'd better apply for this year. I applied without USCE and US LOR! I got 5 IVs till now. I know many programs didn't consider my application because of lack of these but what if I match in one of these 5! Then I would save one year of my life.

you stand a good chance but its a request . please dont label us s experts im just a novice and with .0001% chance of matching this year. though ur application will be far stronger the next year but with a 4 yr psych exp , you already fit into the bill and once you clear ur atep 3 ,,,you will make a highly desirable candidates for the pd's my two cents "GO FOR THE KILL"

how i wish , some pd may like it? at one of my interviews one of the pc's liked my sense of humor and wanted to take me to the riverside for a walk....... there was a slight age difference ( 30 years) and weight difference ( 100 lbs) and i declined......................... alas. otherwise i should have had a prematch in hand

though u applied late......but you have a good chance one tip i can give is , dont call atlst after a month when u have applied you dont want to irritate the alrdy irritated pc's as far as step 3 is conc . you do it and you have 99.99% chance of matching if you get even 1 i/v call ( and i am sure ull get more of them ) and though i did not read ks ( kindly dont read kama sutra :nod i read oxford as an interest. and ks must be like a nursery rhyme for you , so you will be the teacher for your ist yr residency colleagues.

7 year deadline is to pass step1, 2ck and 2cs. So you have already passed those 3 exams in 7years and got your ECFMG certification. As long as you have your ECFMG certification you can apply to step3.

In some states e.g Texas all 3 steps 1,2,3 have to be passed within 7 yrs in order to be able to practice in that state. Or am I mistaken? PLS RESPOND
