Yeah NTP, Baylor should be a first preference obviously. Though I dont have that opportunity and I'll go waitlist for Yale... oh well!

Honestly, I did not know about the NIH ranking.
But the faculty at Baylor is the best you can expect, with Yudofsky as chairman (leader in Biological Psychiatry) and Glen Gabbard training you in psychodynamic psychiatry. Did not take me a second to decide between both of them, even though I would prefer to live in NYC... But I still have opportunities in A Einstein/Montefiore and Columbia!!

Do you have any clue which one is better? UConn or Tufts?
I'm wondering how to rank my programs, yes we go for IV there but still there isn't much time to get enough information!

hi usmlegladiator. I just wonder if this information about me will help you ever? Cause I am not matched yet and I have less than 10 IVs. So...if you want to apply for 2009, you will have a plenty of time and I can see what happens to me then! If I matched then you can use me information as a successful case, but right now it's of no use.

Hi nadiabarati. My apologies for the delay. My interview with tufts was suposed to be last friday, but because of the weather a had to cancel. They put me in waiting list (again!!!) and told me that if there is cancelations during January they'll call again..

Hey P.. I'm in manhattan right now though I'm going to Hartford tomorrow but I'll be back Friday night. I'd love to meet with you and my other fellow IMGs to share our knowledge and different perspectives on programs. I have gained so much of this sort of conversations and believe that it is mutually profitable for all. We will all be collegues in psychiatry quite soon and networking is very important for IMGs, I believe.
So I'm available to meet with any fellow IMGs from 22nd till early January.. and of course in the new york city
