Congratulation doc1981 on your great score.

Help me with 2 questions:

1-Please show me whether 2100 MCQs in Usmle Wolrd is enough for high scorers? or need to add another 2100 MCQs ( I think this was take much time).

2- the Washington Manual of Medical Therapeutics is another plus for Step2 CK.

Thanks doc1981 in advance

I beleive you can get relief in the Match spots.

Thank you doc1981 in advance

hey i have a question. About how many questions do you think you answered correctly in each block?

About how many questions were you unsure of you think?

  #30

Hey Vietnamese - I replied to your PM.. Hope that helps.

Zerocool - I assume you're asking me about the blocks on the real exam. Well, I really have no clue. I was marking atleast 15-18 questions that I was unsure of in each block. However I did have time in every block to go over the marked questions so that helped. At the end of the day I had a terrible feeling when I walked out of the exam centre!!

ah great ok.

I feel like I am in the exact same boat. I was marking about 15 or less questions at the end of the day. I didn't feel super confident walking out, since I want to break 90.

It's REALLY reassuring to hear your story... I'm going to post my exam experience once I can get over the exhaustion of it all still. I really enjoyed your post!! Thank you so much for keeping up with your thread even after you're score was reported.

hi
Congrats on the great score. It is great to see hard work rewaded like thissmiling face
I am very new to step 2 preparation so pl excuse my ignorance about the following ........
I have read Dr conrad Fischer's name in a no. of places. Is he the same guy who gives the lecture on INfectious Diseases in kpaln Int med lectures.
Are there other lecture series of his bec in a previous post that you have written in this thread you have mentioned that you listened to his lectures for difficult topics like Arrhythmias.
Also if he has a series of lectures for step 2( like Dr Goljan had for step 1 )could you point out to me from where to get those?
Pl let me know
Regards
Dallas

Dallas - Thanks so much for the kind words! Yes, Conrad Fischer is the same guy who teaches Inf Disease in the Kaplan lectures for CK. He also does Cardiology. Other topics in Int Med are taken up by different professors.

As far as I know, there's a complete series of Dr Fischer's videos for Internal Medicine Boards... not for CK. I don't have those.

All the best for your preparation. Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need help.

Thanks Sonaliraj. You're definitely on the right track. You've still got three months!! Thats more or less the entire duration of my study. You're doing very well on usmleworld considering you've got a lot of time. If you're getting these scores on mixed, timed blocks then you could write a NBME test in a few weeks and see where you stand. Medicine is the most heavily tested on CK followed equally by the other subjects.

Don't waste time though - if you get a score you're happy with on NBME then I recommend you write the exam. Am sure you can reach your goal. Good luck!!
