Congratulations !!
Hope you be a doctor soon !!!

I have some questions here...and confused me so long long time...
lots of guys said lippin pharma is v good for preparation......
........and here is the question...
does it mean for being "text book" (study during class)
or as "review material"(just review) ? or both ?
...
. ... and I am 3rd year med student (IMG) ...
can you suggest me some textbook and review for
step 1 (each subject)?
PS. i have FA 2001 already .. but I think it's too old .....
...........Thanks very very much !!~

first of all, I am a girl! grin

I had given a reading of Lippin biochem initially. It was very good, but because it was from a library, I gave it back and could not use it all along and depended on Kaplan and FA for biochem. For pharm, I think Lippin is supposed to be good too. I liked reading the Lippincott biochem a lot, it was well written- simple and easy to understand, good graphical illustrations.
For each subject as you do now, I suggest that you do your college recommended text books and learn the concepts well, score well in your class. Simultaneously you could do FA. If you can, you could get the Kaplan notes and read for each subject simultaneously. Then as you have about 6 months before your step 1, you could gear real focussed into step 1 with other materials as needed.
So right now, I think apart from college materials, you can use FA and Kaplan notes and probably some books from your library. Learn the concepts at school.
thanks for congratulating me,
All the best,
Meg
