but if u are planning fr a particular city or particular center, say thats closer to where u are living (as was in my case) then u might want to hurry up the process...

U can check at prometric.com for availability even if u have not apply for the test...

can u really do that without a scheduling permit number...because i couldnt till i got mine?? what u could do was ask someone who does have a number to chek for u...they can go for rescheduling and then the dates do show up...but i dont know how to chek dates without the permit number...

in San Francisco there are lots of small offices that have notary public officials who look at ur passport and notarise the identification document (charged me 10$) matter of minutes, no hassels...u can google map ur own address and then look for close by notary public offices...thats what i did...g/l
