I have heard so much about Dr Fischer that I'm thinking if I can get them somewhere, esp medicine which is my poorest subject. any of you knows where can I get them?

as regards the dvds,in my point of view not all of them is worth watching...I think the dvds which really deserve spending some time for watching are those of Psychaitry,ethics,epidemiology,ob/gyna,and some of the IM topics(cardio,endocrinology,nephrology,hematology).....frnds here can suggest some other areas.
yes the NMS is a q bank used not only for med but it covers all the subjects.

i wish u all the best in ur preparation,and this is to all our frnds here too.
where r u from?have u done with step1 or starting with step2-ck?..what ab ur sources of studying?are u doing questions simultaneousely with studying?
I have psych and surgery left till now...I`m doing revision of other subjects b4 starting with them...But unfortunately my circumstances are bad nowdays ..So my preparation may be delayed for a while.

I am done with step one. Right now busy with dvds.Done with pschiatry and at the edge of completing IM. I find difficult to do questions at this moment. I see that you are doing good.Keep it up!!

Am giving on 26 march (bombay). Fin with 2 readings of kaplan. And done with Qbook.
But am unable to do pediatrics - Not yet done once!
Any one has suggestions - some alternative book. Kap peadiatrics is too boring. And FA peads is too short, i guess.

willing to go for exam anytime at end of march or begining of april.
Is there any Torontorian here in the group who can tell me if any date available at Toronto during that time?
I'm stuck with psych now; performance not satisfactory in UW;so doing Qs from different sources like kap Qbank, pre-test Psych.

@shahnaz.r - may i suggest u something for psych - try Brs behavioral. It had psych fundas explained well. it helped me in step 1 and find those topic very easy now
