I see you booked for April 1st in egypt...and I'm from egypt but didn't schedule yet for shortage of fee money right now....
I'm sure you had access to the available dates...will I still have the chance to take the exam in march or april?......I mean, are there still avaialble dates to schedule in these months?
please answer me as I'm very anxious about that...

I see u had a q regarding the test dates
to relieve your anxiety :-)
the Test dates at AMEDEAST Cairo
March: is over .. no spots
April: available dates are 10 , 17 ,24
BTW generally the exam appointment is every Tuesday so only 4 dates per month are available
I advise you if u are looking for writing the exam in APRIL ..schedule your appointment asap

Now,here are the dates of avaialable seats in the 4 months period(feb-may) till 2day 3/1/2008 9:15 am according to the prometric website of amideast:
Febr: Tuesday 12/2/2008
March: Tuesday 11/2/2008
April: Tuesdays 1,8,15,22,29/4/2008
BTW Dates are not final meaning everyday a date may be full with no longer available seats(so the day disappears from the calender) and another day may be added cuz of avilability of new seats;this is simply because examinees may schedule,reschedule or even cancel their appointments at anytime....so u have to check the site frequently for the up2date data.
I`m not sure but it is obvious that all dates are in tuesdays only..so there may be 4 dates(with many or one seat) allover the month or even 5 if tuesday comes in the earlier days of the month like the case with april/2008.
If u r not sure of being able to pay now,I advise u to finish ur online part of application till the payment step with getting all ur papers in ur hand.once u pay,u send the papers with the ID form which doesnt appear for u b4 paying...so u may catch earlier dates in ur eligibilty period.

To my frnd dr.m7amad ali...plz recheck the prometric again for the correct dates.
well..now if we r supposed to tell each other ab our preparation progress,let me take my turn...
I have finished IM and obstetrics from kaplan notes+dvds
now doing 2 things:
1-revision of IM from kaplan+FA+UW
2-studying surgery and gynacology
BTW,Gyn/obs dvds are more than interresting..if anyone here has time,my sincere advice is to watch them.
