My answer is C. IVP. All children and male adults require further Ix to determine underlying causes for UTI. This is because UTI's are very uncommon in these population groups. You need to be suspicious of predisposing factors such as cysto-ureteric reflux, or stones, or obstruction along the urinary tract.

B ALL CHILDREN YOUNGER than 5 years of age with a UTI, chlidren with a febrile UTI, school-age girls with more than 2 UTI and ANY BOY WITH 1 UTI should have a VCUG to investigate valves, reflux and diverticulun.
