Dear friends, I am not aware of the use of the stem,options, tick ,i buttons in usmle screen.Anybody willing to explain?

The tutorial on the usmle practice cd does a good job explaining it. If you haven't received the cd, you can download the software from the usmle website.

When ever u r highlighting the stem or options u click on that stem and options tab. Thats if u like to highlight a particular word anywhere.

thanks friend,but what are the advantages of highlighting or annotating a particular word

i use the highlighting/annotating button when i read the question for pertinent info, and then to strike out answers that i think are wrong. but it can slow you down if you aren't used to it. it is up to you.

oh stop banging your head lol i feel myself picturing in this avatar yeah true go 4 usmle.org site and get familiar to it b4 appearing in exam as it wil save ur tutorial time for break time and u wont get confused while looking at tjose stuf 4 1st time
