Ok, so Ive beencompiling a list of questions that may be asked in interviews. I know some people prefer not to discuss their answers to each one, cause they feel their answer may be a selling point to a program director. Which is fine.
But I will try, however, to list the WACKY questions that some directors may ask. Ive read these in some books, and if I encounter some during interviews, I will list them.
So in this thread.......QUESTION 1:
If you could be any cell in the human body, which would you choose to be....and why ?
Most students choose NEURON, citing that it is always in CONTROL, and serves as the center of all things. The question may be changed to something a little more dramaic, such as "if you could be any kitchen appliance, which would it be and why ?"
Any other answers that might work well here folks.
Comeon now.....I think we can all chip in to these types of questions.

Who, being in a good sane, would ask a Q like this during the interview??? And, what if I say that I want to be an epithelial cell of a bartholin gland in my attempts to please OB/GYN PD??? I guess a person asking such a Q is either a fun of Salvador Dali or needs a friendly help of psychiatrist...

^^^ Well, it's listed in various "Match" books. Now that you know, you can ponder your answer....so you wont have the face you just posted above if you get asked.
And maybe you could list an answer with a logical explanation, to help some of the other members out.

i would be the RBC with loads of oxygen..keeps things going with the bohr and haldane effectsatleast i will tell this if the hospital has a lot of COPD

hmm a kitchen appliance...howz a CO detector for startersalways life saving and unconventional in not being a kitchen appliance in the strictest sense(that is what the CO detector thinks it is..but data havent proved it to be life saving:no bad idea..
