hi nnl

i downloaded nbme qs and i think you can help me,

i want to know how many qs do i have to answer right in each form to get just the passing score?

some people saaid that if i answered 70% of the qs correctly i will get 90+in usmle, but nobody can tell me what percent is thepassing score?(50-55 or60% or what?)

please if you know help me in this case

thanks

not 70% but out of every section u shud be scoring 40-45 questions correct (40-45/50). This is wht i have seen from good scorers that they have had done the dled version. There is no known accurate way to measure ur score thru the dled version except knowing that if u r getting abv 40 questions correct ur scoring in the 90s.

thanks nnl

so you don't know about the passing score?

nope there is no set demarcation for that. but if u r scoring arond 40-45 questions correctly then u r in the clear. If ur score is somewhere around 35-40 questions then u have to work harder and concerntrate on ur questions. look 35-40 questions means around 380- 430 and 40-45 then u r scoring abv 450 onwards to 500 so on and so forth.
