Hey Jazmil you are scarring the rest of us by posting all your rejections, something is radically wrong with this picture. I cannot believe with your outstanding credentials on the steps you have a laundry list of rejections. What is the real deal with this picture, please stop your stories and tell us the truth. Because even a guy from India with no visa or USCE will get IVs with your credential even in university programs, so in the name of almighty Allah please give us the real run down.......................

it's true chimera

Very competitive now,

Double 99ers are rejected too.

Are you talking about the "IM rejections by state" ? ... we are adding new programs to the list (from everybody's rejections) every time to keep it updated...

I think prueba and robin have sufficiently addressed the heart of your question. But let me just add that I have recieved 4 rejections so far and I only applied to about 40 programs. I personally don't find it surprising because my scores merely balance out the weaker aspects of my application. If you are looking for truly outstanding credentials, you needn't go very far, we have quite a few on this forum.

Hi Chimera,
If u ve followed this thread long enough, u ll know the score isn't everything. I see at least 40-50% rejection rate for double 99ers in average. And if u do apply this year, u know it's a very competitive year. So stop questioning Jazmil as he/she is just trying to gather information for others, like the people who post iv information here.

It's more of a package that counts. If every one is 99/99, 99 doesnt matter anymore. mad

Completely agree with you guys!! Dear chimera you are not into the match process right? Because if you were you would see that scores are not everything and that even if you have one or tho 99's in your pocket you will get rejected not one but many times! You would have to go through what we are going through right now to see that this is very competitive and having great scores is deffinitely not everything...
So please stop your rude attitude towards people that is being sincere and open about difficult aspects like rejections because all they are trying to do is help each other out.

Hey, nice thread! I agree with ppl this is a very competitive year, I´m kindda scared since I really thought this would be easier... I´ll share my experience as u guys are so maybe it can help others...

My cred: 97/pass/will take (11/7)/no USCE/J1 or H1/couples

Applied to 40 IM programs, and so far:

IVs
Cook County, IL
Advocate, IL
Metropolitan, NY
Danbury, CT

Rej
Yale Bridgeport, CT
St Vincent, CT (add me to the double rejection mad )

I´m now on my final days before cK, please pray for me and keep going, hoping that at the end, everyone match in their prefered site... GOOD LUCK!

Good luck Allymed, as u have good credentials, we all know u ll do well.
U ve gotten some ivs even 99ers failed to obtain.
Dont give urself too much pressure. 99 and 95 is now no difference for u, honestly. It's the whole package, which u ve already had an envious one.

Thank you,

Whoever starts the new week is ok with me, my rejections are due to my credentials and luck.

Yesterday I went to Kaplan, saw some friends there, they applied more programs than me but received less IVs, anyway I am luckier than them

Good luck.

This ones to chimera:
I am a good example of how a 99/99(both scores above 250)/CS pass/IM residency in home country hav got 5 iv's 13 rejects(9 univ 4 comm) At first i thought I had good creds. NO - in the sea of applicants scores really dont mean a lot, this year USCE, "LUCK", visa status and research exp. are lot more imp. than ur scores. Mark my words and I cant be wrong
