I score 91 in step1 and 99 in step2 ..my cs in december..have one month of externship?do you think its too late for apply or should i wait for the next match?

what's your visa status? grad. year? .... i would apply... It's late but you could get some interviews up to January.... 99 on step 2 is a good predictor of match success....not enough (alone) I guess.... but externship is also a big plus...

i Think next year match will be best bet

atleast dont apply to the programs that have send out iv/rejections..u can find them on the weekly threads and also a lot of programs have stopped taking applications..make sure u dont waste ur $$ there..

thanks every one..my friend push me to participate to this match but really ithink next match will be much better for me ..i can collect more LOR and and also update My Cv and also finsh step3

my problem iam afraid that ididnt match when i apply to next year?so more time wasting

Agree with all. you would definately get more and better calls next year if you apply with a complete application on sept 1. ... but it's possible to get IVs if you apply late with a complete and competitive application... I have a friend who applied on November to about 30 programs and got about 6 calls... he prematched at a good program. his credentials were 99/99, GC, US lors, us research, USCE.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM , 96/waiting the result/nov. need visa.2004 .
i applied late in oct. for 30 prog.
i hope i will find chance this year, but definitley i am going to take step 3, and do an observation ship in order to be ready for the next year,
