I guess this is common everywhere bro! The same things happens over here too. But dont forget the British/American differences. Many of the comments mentioned realy become 2nd nature. Its not easy to live somewhere for many years and not get influenced by their habits, ... etc Most of the changes are normal unless they turns into arrogance.

this is sooooo true!!! i guess its normal to substitute words for other words that mean the same like cookie-biscuit etc. but the cocky attitude can be amusing to watch if you're secure in your life in india. ever seen those blokes drag their $400 bags on pot-holed roads, no, actually lanes?!! and it keep getting stuck every few steps, and they have to bend to lift it out, only to start dragging it again!! and the bright red BA tag is soooo hard to miss!! but, i find that this attitude is there only in the younger generation, who went there in the past decade or so. folks of the previous generation actually haven't changed that much, i.e. they haven't gotten lazy, they are still pretty disciplined, extremely hard-working, comparable to their relatives back home..... i esp like no 14!!!
