Hi .. I have these questions .. if you have the answer thanks in advance! Most of them are stuff that I read that was contradicting first aid .. so now i'm confused. 1. Why is it hyperkalemia in renal failure? I thought it would cause the renin angiotensin aldosterone system to kick in and then i'd be hypokalemia. 2. For iatrogenic cushings, does ACTH increase or decrease? (I know this is a path question too..)

1-due to acidosis? 2-decrease

also probably filtration fraction decreases, n m not sure but renin-angio not increased in all types of failure
