What to say if you r asked about No. of interviewes by PD and you have only that one in hand.
Should you lie or be honest.
If lie sometime they may ask about the Program where you got inerveiws and they may contact and find the truth.I am saying it based on my last year match experience.
I have only one in hand so what should I do.will it decrease my chance to be ranked higher since they know I have only 1 or I should be honest and leave rest to the GOD.

now, that would be an evasive answer..., just be honest 1st "I have or had x # of ivs (and then) but I´m willing to consider canceling any future ivs if you´re willing to offer a pre-match riht now"

I dont know if I would be honest in this case. You dont need to be politically correct. You're selling yourself right? and the competition is tight right? you dont want the PD to think that you're cheap. Saying that you have only one interview may hurt you.

Saying the truth is a great value but real life is a jungle. There is no honesty in it. Even the PD you will be talking with will probably not be telling you all the truth. So my advice is just be smart. Say that you have 5 interviews so far but you are willing to consider canceling them if you're offered a prematch (great answer doc 750).
