I am a UK grad in the US doing step 1 at the moment - at least studying for it - so dont have a score yet to tell you. I would recommend investing in the Kaplan Q bank for 3 months to practice questions - u learn a lot from it too - it costs about 400 dollars. Also get First Aid for USMLE step 1, Step up and the Princeton review - theyre quick to read through and give you a good idea of the sort of information you need to know. I would supplement the review books with a combination of your med school notes, internet resources and specific subject books (best to get the US books) for each subject and keep re-testing with the Kaplan q bank I think if you put your mind to it you can get upto speed in 3-4 months - basically I am scoring reasonably on the Kaplan q bank at the moment with the above revision. Hope that helps.
