Hi, I have sent out 3 lors from home countries. And this week I will get another 2 american Lors. Today I called ECFMG,they told me that I can only send out 1 because they maximently take 4. And for those 3 home countries ones, I cant replace them.....Is that true? I am so counfused, I think I have read someone from this forum said that they can replace the lors which they send earlier??? please clarify my confusion. thanks

u can assign only 4 lors, but send in as many as u like

thank you rockingdoctor. another question, can i withdraw( un-assign) the letters that i have sent out? I read it if it is gray i can, if it is blue, i cant... i dont understand what gray what blue????.......................

if programs have downloaded it then I guess you cant change them

Actually I spoke to ECFMG last week and they say that you can substitute previous LORs with current LORs still keeping a total of 4 per program per specialty whether they download the LORs are not. you also better clarify with them before doing it, I did it today infact.
