My step two is on monday.the 29th and frankly speaking i have no words to say how i feel.this in in part because i'm writing this exam with a failure on my back,i failed step two in april this year and instead of going through step 1 again i chose step two.
my prep is okay,i feel a lot better then i did at the time of my step 1,and i did UW also which i had not done at that time,plus i knew my short comings and have worked on improving my mistakes and when i think of my step 2 prep i feel confident......... but then the thoughts of step two result come to my mind and i feel terrible.... i fear if its going to happen again.
deep down,a fear has taken roots that i'm never going to be able to do it.i know its irrational but i truly feel as if its going to happen again.
Please pray for me.i need all your best wishes.
this time i've worked real hard and it should be rewarded but if something goes wrong this time i'l be shattered forever.

I will pray for you SOS, keep your confidence, don't even think about failing again. If you worked hard enough, the board won't betray you. Though I'm not done with step 2 yet, I HEARD the board never intends to knock you down with tricky, twisted questions, it only wants to make sure that you know what you need to know as a doctor. So this is a good opportunity to prove your knowledge. Your hard work will be paid off! GL!!

Just go in thinking you worked hard and gonna give all you got on exam day. This test does not define you....so dont let it. Just keep saying you can do it...and you will.

SOS, i know what it means, i was a casualty too in my last step 2 taken in august. I am writing it again in december but up till now i still get this flashbacks, most epecially when i was so sure of making it then. Right now i still sometimes doubth myself about making the exam........BUT...... It is only the lazy guy who falls and refuses to stand up. Dont you think that it will be painful to know that success is only 8 hours away and you refused to put the past behind and grab it?: No matter what, please put the past behind and grab you success waiting for you on monday. I will pray for you because we all need that , Go out there and Conquire the boards without mercy and then come and tell us the good news.............

Hi SOS,good luck for ur exam ,mine is on thursday.NEVER THINK OF THE PAST FAILURES ,PAST IS ALWAYS PAST,FUTURE IS IN FRONT OF U,JUST CONCENTRATE N WRITE IT ON UR NOTE PAD,I CAN DO IT N AFTER EVRY BLOCK OR EVEN IN BETWEEN THE BLOCKS DURIN UR EXAM ,LOOK AT IT N SAY 2 URSELF,OFCOURSE I CAN DO THIS N I CAN DO LOTS N LOTS MORE,DIS IS JUST A SMALL EXAM,GOOD LUCK.

Best of luck! Remember the last few days before the exam is the best time to go through your notes again. Relax on the last day. Take a lot of breaks during the exam.

Hello everyone
i think i did okay...... i mean i don't have that fey feeling anymore, and it wasn't as bad as i thought.i hope my result is good too.honestly speaking i think i've done well and i should get a decant score........ i'l keep my fingers crossed now.i've done whatever i could ,now its just the terrible wait.
for those who've not taken it yet,my best wishes are with you,and there is one thing which you need in loads out there,that is CONFIDENCE.you will know most of the questions but may be its the stress that makes you so unsure of everything.it happened to me,i ended doubting myself many a times and changing answers probably when i shouldn't have.so those who are yet to take it be very thorough with your concepts so that nothing can shake your confidence.
i'm too exhausted but i owed my thanks to all of you.i would like to share more of my experience but i think everyone would appreciate better if it came from a good scorer,otherwise i'll keep shut

My fingers are crossed.I wish everyone who's yet to take it all the very best.And guys if you can spare some moments after the big day,just share your feelings here,we'l have a support group amongst ourselves and someone else might find it useful.

Hi everyone
many thanks to all of you for your wishes and my bestest wishes to those who are going to write it or awaiting results.
i'm happy that i don't have to rewrite step 2...... what do you guys think of my score?is it good enough to get me e residency.from my perspective...... its good in the way its returned back my lost confidence in myself.now i can face my step 1 with a new strength and energy..... its pulled me out of the gloom i'd been residing in for almost 6 months.i feel alive once again.
in short i am happy.
