Opened the package, had a smile on my face, and looked at it for 2 seconds...........then got bored and threw it in my closet.
Felt so excited to get one when I was about to embark on Step 1. Now all I can think about is interviews.
What a waste...........

Congrats zrf80. I'm awaiting mine. ECFMG couriered it yesterday.
You are right. We worked for that thing so hard but now waiting for the next problem of interviews to be solved.

Thank you all for your kind remarks. Yes, I agree with all of you. You work so hard to achieve something, only to have it masked by another hurdle.
I remember after I graduated I couldnt wait until I got my ECFMG certification. Now that I have it, I have no time to reflect on it because we have ANOTHER hurdle to overcome.
Kity - It depends on your situation. My medical credentials were VERIFIED before I passed the CS found out on Oct. 12). If thats the case, they send you an e-mail that states that you will have your ECFMG certificate in 2 weeks. I got mines in 2 weeks exactly.
If your medical credentials are not verified, then it may take up to 6 weeks. Call up ECFMG and find out if your credentials are verified or not. Good luck.

kity, sometimes it is even faster. I got the result of CS on 10/10, certificate issued and mailed on 10/12, received on 10/16
