Hi Guys,
i took my exam on Oct3rd and today i got my score reported,it is'nt an ideal score but for me it matters so much that i managed to pass.I got a 75/186.Everyone on this forum helped me to pass this exam specially Feyza,calimd,drnaik,gogeta.My nbme scores were not good i was so scared to take the exam but i could not extend my exam any further,my nbme scores are:
NBME1 340 6weeks before test
NBME2 320 4 weeks before the test
NBME3 340 three weeks before the test.
i would like to thank everyone on this forum cuz it's a great help for average students like me.I cried the hell out each time i took nbme cuz i always thought i would score more but nbmes are so tough specially nbme3.But my actual score is a bit more than the nbme scores due to which i passed.My exam experience is not an ideal one,i'm a housewife,expecting my first baby in january, it was very hard for me to sit for long hours and study,my exam was tough i was so tired by the end of fourth block but i kept praying and trying my best,these exams are difficult and need a lot of courage n good review.Goljan lectures helped me a lot i studied goljan 100 pages in the last dayz,they are amazing,had i studied them earlier i would've scored much better but still i'm thanking allah only by his grace i managed to pass,tnx again guys!

Tnx everyone!It was only possible due to this forum and prayers from my family members and most of all my husband's support,i did not want to take the exam but he kept motivating me and i found the courage to take it.But one thing i know for sure is that u have to kill yourself to get good scores,i am an IMG and i graduated almost 3years back,i had no idea on how to study or to use material,but people on this forum are very helpful,they help in everyway they can.
Shohreh,please take nbmes before u take the real exam,to pass safely u have to manage to get atleast 380 on nbme3 and above 400 on both nbme1and2.cuz if you score less then u are very borderline and the key is revision,revise stuff as many times as u can cuz step1 material is very volatile and u tend to forget eazily,i scored around 48% on UW.then after that i did one more reading and took nbme,i took two or three weeks gaps b/w nbmes then would revise all over again then took another nbme to see where i stand,for u it might be different cuz everyone has his/her own way of revision,use golajn audios and goljan100 pages if u have time,they will definitely help improve your scores.any more questions i'm happy to answer,TNX ONCE AGAIN GUYS!

congeratulation docash.wish u do better next time for u u allready in the right way plz prey for me who don't start yet.and plz tell me about frist read should be fast ?i can't do that i'd read by pin and paper so it take long time make me give up

i am using downloaded nbme,but i don't know whar percent of the qs do i have to answer right to get a passing score?i mean for example if i did 50% in nbme form ,i will be fail or pass?
do you know when you did nbme form 1 ,2,3 and got your score ,what percent did you do right in any of them?

dr shohreh i did the online NBME and i have got 236/99 and i did only 80% of the questions RIGHT as i compared my answers to the downloaded NBME

hello docash,congratulations!
thank you for sharing. i did downloaded nbme 2 today, i only got 50% right, which is a failing score, i need to get 65% to pass usmle. it might sound silly, but i am so dissappointed at myself, and frustrated, i need a good study plan to stick to.
can you advice me, how i can get 10 more questions right in each block? i am done with uw, didnt score well, finished with 40%, i really need to pass.
and if gogeta is out there, can you advice me also, i just extended my time, i have 2 and half months.thanks.
