Hello everyone,

As more and more dry days are going by and rejections seem to have been started pouring, is it time to start calling( phone or email) programs and ask them to review your application ?

They are busy, very busy but we are desperate, really desperate !
1. So what do you all say? Should we still wait for Nov1st for MSPE to be released and expect some answers then ?
2. Since many programs are overloaded with thousands of applications and all Inv dates are already full, is there a point in calling ?

Plesae share your thoughts on this everyone and especially people who have called in past few days and waht kind of response they got and how did you ask the PC for it.

Thanx

I would wait until after NOV 1.....many programs have not sent anything out yet, waiting for MSPE. I plan on calling the first-second NOV week.

Ive heard that it's not a good idea to "bother" programs. Doesnt really achieve anything, and can actually work against you.

Personally, I wont be calling any programs to check my status. I will assume that I have been rejected if I am not offered any interviews.

Maybe bbb or someone can clarify this ? rolling eyes

i called a few programs and got rejections ! i got this email from a program today that i applied to last year and NOT this year .. the lady said that they would appreciate if applicants stopped contacting them about the status of their applications so they could spend more time reviewing applications that they hadnt reviewed yet ..

Dear ERAS Applicant:

Due to the extremely high volume of applications to date this year, it would
be appreciated if you could restrain from contacting us with questions
regarding your application status or updates. We would like to give proper
attention to those applications that have not been reviewed as yet.
You will be contacted via phone or email if we are interested in seeing you
for an interview.
Thank you for your cooperation.
