If the patient was in an accident, and had a fixed dilated pupil on the RIGHT and contralateral hemiparesis (LEFT), what does that tell us about the injury? Is it on the right or left side of the head? For example if he has a epidural hematoma, would you expect to find it on the left or right side of the head???

bilateral dilated fixed pupils can occur in deep coma or intoxication or hemorrhagic shock or brain death
if bilateral dilated fixed pupils with loss of all brainstem refelexes and respiratory drive i think it is brain death
brainstem refelexes is something like the ocluocephalic reflex or dolls eye as normally the eye movements are opposite to the movement of the head
