BBB and friends, In this coming days we will start attending IV's and hopefully getting matched in march or even better accepting a pre-match offer from one of our top programs. But what if you reject a pre-match offer (maybe waiting for a better program) and later on you get to the match, would you rank them? probably yes, but most importantly, since you rejected their offer, will they rank you anyways?? How can you say no to a pre-match offer without "closing that door"? Thanks for your response:

I think you can still rank them. My friend rejected a prematch offer from a university program last year (his top 3 choices were in NY city). He ranked that same program number 4 or number 5 at rank time........and ended up MATCHING to it ! So I guess it doesnt really matter whether or not you reject a prematch. If a program likes you, they will still rank you hih on match day. Any other thoughts from bbb or forum elites ?
