22 rejections this side without a single iv and U r asking r 13 rejections bad. I guess nobody is liking my application even with USCE..so they r just throwing me out of their lists. I feel the season is pretty much over for me? disapproval

hi just wanna encourage us guys, our scores screwed us up in the match, but not in our lives on the whole ! there must be some way out for us low scorers, can we try elsewhere like in australia or new zealand ?? ....we can surely wait as the game is not over ...but i feel we should also look into elsewhere. wat do u say ? i got 1 IV and 4 rejects. may we keep our hopes in the Lord for He will cause things to come to pass to fulfill our heart desires.

Comeon guys. Lets remember that a lot ofp rograms havent even interviewed their first batch of selections.

The season is NOT over.......in terms of interviewing, it has only begun. Lets let November take its course, and Im sure your interview schedules will fill up. And also, you dont need 100 IVs to match. I have MANY MANY friends that matched with only a couple interviews; one guy who only had 1 IV in a GOOD program and matched.

So lets not look at the downside of things, especially since the season is stil early.

Jeez! Doc holiday , you deserve respect! the way you have been positive throughout all those hails of rejections is awesome! You'll get somewhere. It's easy to bring good scores , very difficult to be positive when all you see is the flip side of the situation. In my book this later is the biggest cred.

chances are that if there havent been that many interview till now then there wont be any coming!! the number of applicants this year is way more than the past few years and a huge number of them are 99/99ers or with experience from the UK ... so, sit back, enjoy life and relax cool

Any evidence to support your ideas? grin
Or it's based on ur last year's experience?
That's quite discouraging, isn't that?

Thanx.

I completely disagree. Yes, there are more applicants, but there are more spots as well ! If you read Iserson's or First Aid, you'll note that a as the years progress, so do the number of spots (depending on field).

I just think it's a bit early to think the season is over with. We still got NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, and JANUARY. A lot of places are interviewing their first batch on selectees; heck, I havent even attended one yet ! More will come in November and in December.........and Im sure we ALL will have something to boast about come March.

Good luck everyone !
