Hello friends, I'd like to ask about the importance of radiographs (X-ray, CT, MRI, Angiograms) in Step 1. And if they are HY, what is the best source to study them?

Thanks fanaye for such help... Is webpath enough? does it contain CT, MRI and angiographs or just gross anatomy and histology images?

webpath covers almost all organ system but when it comes to how to differenciate B/N head injuries and supra and infra tentorial brain herniation i had to search that is why i went to a bookstore BORDERS i found the Radiology atlas which covers almost all with easy to understand explanations. The reason i am telling you this is for me the things i mentioned were not clear at first even though i red it on webpath so it depends on your levl of understanding and also this things are tested very frequently along with the blood supply at least Mejor cerebral arteries you have to be able to identify which artery is injured in a given ct scan of the head

ooh also... im very :S on pics. i am just concentrating on goljan's slides, which i find come up in webpath, and UW quite a bit. so its sort of a relief. honestly, those are the only pics i will be looking at. just goljan. i dont know if this is a smart idea, but i do not really know what parts of the body are HY in terms ofpictures, and i am a little too short on time to sit through that. hopefully my goljan slides, and FA pics do not fail me. again if you can get a high yield series books, they are really great, they are full of xray pictures. which different levels of the picture taken, and many labels. but very time consuming.
