start screening colon cancet at 43 y/o

correct

screen for colorectal cancer in men and woman at the age of 50. If there is a family history of colon cancer in a first degree relative, screening should eb started 10 yrs before the age of the relatives diagnosis.

start screening at 40 y or at an age 10 yrs younger than age of relative when affected, whichever is earlier.

So screen at 40 yrs of age.
