You must submit 3 LORs, preferably 3 from US physicians. You still have some time to get ready, so try to obtain externship and/or observership positions here in US and perform well in order to ask for those LORs. Good luck!

i hate asking for that stuff. but if you do observship isnt that kind of the same as just going to a local docs office and asking if you can follow him around?

yes pal its the same thing which u said. But US doc's LOR's carry weight in the Match process. No LOR's from either Ur home country or Ur Med School carry that much weight, I learned that the Hard way.So wrap up ur exams soon, get EFMG certified and search for an Externship Spot. Externship is definitely better than Observership. As in Externship u can atleast talk and examine patient directly. Hope it helps

U R right. at this point in time, i have to prioritize! i have step 2 left so i will Focus on Just that and try not to take it lightly. than after ecfmg certic. ill run around like maniac for LOR's and externship. Thanks, sometimes you need someone else to confirm things for you and give 2nd opinion sooo one doesnt go crazy and get GAD.
