A message from saint peter..."Dont bug me, i wont tell you anything"....My question is why email this to everyone....even those who never emailed them or called them for anything...shouldnt they restrict this email only to those who email asking for status....

I guess by this strategy, the people who called them would also email them and thus the program would come to know who was calling and reject them, 'coz a lot of people dont give the info. on phone and just call and ask" when are you going to send out IVs/Rejects"???
my theories this days like my mood swings are running amuck...

Well I got the same email too, but it doesnt say so in the exact same words as sarika's post. May be she's got a lot of those kind of posts despite that early message that says they will let each and every candidate know of their status. If certain elements can't follow that and then email or call the pc's to ask of their status, that'd be enough to tick anyone off especially someone who has to deal with 3000 odd applicant's.
So I think it'd be a good idea to give this lady the benifit of doubt and just say ok and leave it at that.

hi all
thanks koz for ur reply.the earlier emails from Brookdale were general emails with "application status" as the subject line.
the one i received now says "on hold" in subject line and the email matter is just the same as earlier ones. i was wondering if anyone else got the same one.

You are right Zygone, the words werent exactly that...but still...Ok lets give her the benefit of doubt..she may be busy and annoyed at someone
but we are busy too...scanning thru 5posts/minute at P4U, refreshing yahoo mail and Eras every 3minutes and doing a half-hearted search on residency program director (the interviewer) isnt easy either...

Just got email from st lukes roosevelt saying that they have already sent an iv invitation 2 weeks back and bcos they didnt receive any response from me ,they thought of email being not delivered to me,they have sent an email now asking abt my interest and they will let me know the available dates now if Iam interested.
I replied to them, now.
Actually i didnt receive any email from them neither in my mail box nor in eras ,

Wow shailu all that without you asking them the status of your application. Sounds like they are really interested in you. Give it your best if you get an iv (hopt that you do). Was it for internal medicine ???
Sarika, right now, let's face it we aint busy. We are just anxious for iv's. I think they have a lot on their hands. they got to fill their x number of spots with an application pool of +3000 and get it right too so let's just go easy on them, shall we.

i think we all know by now this process goes up and down... this week is good for me... last week was really dry - i thought it was over... the week before was pretty good...
so to all those with IVs - congrats... and all those with a dry day or week - hang in there!
