Jewish is a small Program with a lot of IMGs, hardly gives a prematch, affiliated with U of Cinn. where you can get electives..looked at their website, but couldnt find out how many go into fellowship or how the research atmosphere is ....when u see the list of publications the residents have made from there, i thought the last one i saw was in 2000..i am sure it is not an updated peice of information..but if really the last time a publication came out of there was 2000, i dont think fellowship prospects are that great..

Thanks, gingko and prueba. silenced, MD what I know about Jewish Hospital: It's a 222 bed hospital affiliated to U Cincinnati, offers 7 categorical positions (50% IMGs) and H1 visa (I m not 100% sure). More information: http://www.jewishhospital-cincinnati.com http://www.scutwork.com/cgi-bin/links/review.cgi?... I didn't apply to Methodist Houston. GoodLuck everybody this week!!!

We have carefully reviewed your application for Internal Medicine residency through ERAS, and appreciate the strength of your credentials, references, experience, and personal statement. As you might imagine, there is a very large number of well-qualified applicants and at this time, I regret that we cannot invite you for an interview visit. Our program does not offer R-1 positions ahead of the NRMP Match Date. If you should accept a position outside the Match, please remember that part of your NRMP agreement is that you will withdraw from the Match. Because of the large number of applicants who deserve consideration, we would be very grateful if you would notify us directly, or else withdraw your ERAS application if you secure a training position early. I wish you the best in your career! With best regards, Sincerely, Stephen Brietzke Stephen A. Brietzke, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.E Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency IM_HOUSE@health.missouri.edu what does it mean? i din't understand,
