Tour included visits to: everywhere, including the rooftop where the lifeflight lands. nice view of the city!
Questions asked:
Happy residents: yes / no / ? : yes
Atmosphere: very friendly, very supportive
City, how is living there?: denver is great for outdoor activities, museums, gets pretty cold, but rated a wonderful city to live in.
Research oriented: yes / no / ? posters, yes
Prematch offers?: not sure
Visa sponsored?: ?
What I liked the most?: what the PGY-3s had to say about it. loved their experience there.
What should be improved?: PD VERY responsive to needs of residents. changes do occur, and quickly.
Rate experience (0-10): 9
Conclusion: great community program, you WILL be a competent doctor upon completion of residency. fellowships available for those who work for them.
