I would say H. No form of fee can be acceptable. It becomes unethical. Not addressing the issue with the pharmaceutical company becomes implied consent. Declining treatment for a ptient doesnt have the best interest of the patient at hand. hence my answer.

Let me know when you find the right answer.

  #3

i think the answer should be E
all the information needs to be disclosed to the patient and taking favours from the pharmacological company in any form is unethical

c.
it is not unethical to get paid for getting data or participating in study.

also you can't just "refer" patient to study, you have to decribe all aspects of the study and get informed concent from the patient

Answer is E.

not only can you not accept any money, but you must also tell you patient that you were offerred, and that you will/have declined. and for pete's sake, don't give the money to the patient!! it will cloud his decision.

C....clearly tell the pateint the whole scenario and offer him/her all the money that is being offered as the trail is on him and not on the doc...it is entirely pateints decision what to do with the money.IT IS NOT OUR MONEY...it can only be ours when we are the subjects of trial.

i think it's B bc 1) we dont take any money nor incentive to enroll in studies and 2) it's still untested and going thru trials, so why would u switch a tx that is working now, and wait until it is past the testing phase?

wat is the rite answer?? raised eyebrow

I did not realize that this one is old ... The correct answer posted is E
