It depends on your clinical background. If you are currently in contact with patients and fluent in english it should be enough but you have to master it and get the pattern of the exam. Because this exam is more difficult to pass these days and it is expensive i will suggest you to practice with a study partner by phone or physically. It is easy to get a handset and talk using google or yahoo. Try to talk with native americans and find out how easily they understand you (if you are IMG or not living in the states). Now if you would like to cover 100%(chief complaint) the cases in the exam I will suggest to get also UW. It is not going to hurt you to practice more cases (because UW have more cases than FA). Notice that there are more people that have failed after july 15th, so take it seriously. If you would like to be effective with your prep time I will say to get a study partner asap. Hope that helps. All the best

No First Aid is not enough. I had about 3 cases that were not included in FA, too bad for me I only did FA. I found out the hard way, I just hope I don't have to pay another $1200. Spending $50 on UW is a lot better than having to spend another $1200. Don't get me wrong, FA is a good book but it is not complete.
