he did not want artificail ventitation
there is no need of ant legal and unexpired document.

don't need a witness, it's a driver's license, he had to check the box saying he wants to be a donor, it never expires.
NNL- he has a living will, saying "kill me before you put me on the tube".

But there is something called CYA and this is a must in US cos u never know some nerdy anally retentive lawyer might find something.

if witnesses are not required then why is there an area for their signatures? or is the witness signature optional?? main focus being that the individual has permitted organ donation?
i'm just trying to understand the process.

if he signed his driver's license that obviously indicates his wish to donate organs
why else would he sign on the license??

had a similar question in UW. it said first u try to sort it out with the family members . if they still dnt agree u remove life support as per the patients will. so according to it the ans shd be A.
abt organ donation i think u shd nt proceed with it coz u dnt hv a valid document suggesting that the pt wants his organs donated. dat drivers liscence has expired so it cannot be accepted and anything it says cannot be accepted too.
