hi guys, i need your help in something... i am an IMG who have passed step 1 with descent scores. and I am a U.S. citizen for my rotations I have an option of doing it in U.S or abroad either in India or Caribbean or england. where do u think i should do? should i do it in U.S. or abroad ? what does the residency program directors in U.S. look for? does it really matter where i do it? Personally I think I can learn more overseas in terms of more hands on clinical experience. Any Advice will be appreciated!!! P.S. I am a newbie so I dont know If this is the right forum where I should be Posting.

USA!!!! unfortunally home country clinical experience is not even half as valuable as US clinical experience plus almost every program will ask for US clinical experience as a prerequisite for IV's soooo DO US clinical experience!! Don't even think about it!! especially if you have the chance...I know lots of people longing for an opportunity!! And get as much LOR's as you possibly can!! GL
