hi gomez one Q again. How do we order the duration of medicines in CCS cases?
If it is a office setting and we need antibiotics for 7 days what should I do? Is it schedule an appointment in 7 days and discontinue the antibiotic?

Just type- x antibiotic continuos- send patient home- If you don´t need to see him again just click under orders on top of the antibiotics and cancel it-If need to see him, schedule an appointment and cancel it...
In general just type under orders "x" med continuos and you can cancel orders anytime (after number of desire days for treatment is complete) even if the pt is at home...

I´m expecting results at anytime from today, it´s exactly 3 weeks today..., I don´t know at what time FSMB gets updated but we should recieve it by email...

egomez congratulations
did u use step 3 kaplan notes?? is it useful?
step 2 notes does cover management part but of course it doesnt cover it extensively.
so in ur opinion does reading step 3 notes help in that aspect in the exam?
i am doing UW and few topics from swansons.
step 3 kaplan notes doesnt seem to be that popular, i am confused

I had both of them, ck and s3 notes, I liked the format of ck better..., it´s almost the same info..., almost everyone uses ck notes, but if it works for you go ahead with s3 notes...., another aspect it´s that it was easier and faster for me to go through the ck material since I also use it for ck exam..., in my opinion ck are better for s3, happy to answer anymore qs, good wishes for your prep...

i am already doing step 2 notes, ...UW ....swanson ,,, conrad ethics.
i wanted to know if i should add step 3 kaplan notes also ????
i mean i know that step 3 notes is almost the same as 2 notes as far as theory part of case explaination is considered .
i was thinking will going through the cases in S3 Notes help regarding steps of management ??

No..., I don´t think so..., I would not bother to add s3 notes..., I think for sequence in managment step 3 videos are helpful..., for sequence in ccs cases, usmelsteps123 is of great help...
